Adding a Networked Printer to your Computer

The TPG IT department has begun rolling out a new tool called Printer Logic, designed to streamline and simplify printer management across our organization. In this email, I would like to provide you with a brief overview of the tool's features and how it will enhance your printing experience.
Printer Logic will be installed on all computers within our network, allowing for centralized control and easy access to printers. The tool includes a client in the Windows tray and a browser extension. These components work together seamlessly to supply a user-friendly printing environment. Once we have pushed the Printer Logic software to the computers, the printers will have the following naming conventions: Clinic Name - [Printer Model].
One of the key benefits of Printer Logic is its ability to automatically deploy printers based on the IP address of your connected computer. This means that when you travel from one clinic to another, Printer Logic will automatically remove printers from your old location and add the printers at your new location. This ensures that you have the printers available without any manual configuration.
By implementing Printer Logic, we aim to simplify printer management, save time, and improve overall efficiency. With this tool in place, you can expect a smoother printing experience and a reduction in the need for IT support related to printers.
Simply click on the Printer Logic icon in the tray, and it will take you to the Printer Logic Self Service portal. From there, you can easily find and install the desired printer with just a few clicks.
